“Build me a house like the bungalows of old” was the request for the Ever-Greene Bungalow. With a client fascinated by the Greene & Greene architecture in California, what else could be done but to follow their lead. From the siding style and paint color to the interior fireplace case work, all the elements of this house were thoughtfully brought to life. The clients role was indispensable in working through the details. They had specific requests for wood tones and finishes while allowing for our craftsman’s creativity to shine through. The slight separation of the living room and kitchen are perfectly tied together by the built in niche breakfast table. This area combined with the well appointed kitchen creates the perfect family gathering place every day of the year. Collaboration was the name of the game and we had a great time creating this gem.
